Whitecurrant 'White Versailles'
Great for jams and jellies
A
whitecurrant which is great for cooking and eating, especially
when mixed with redcurrants and whitecurrants. This is a heavy cropping
variety which is excellent for small gardens and is ready for harvest
in mid summer.
Uses
Tasty in jams and pies, and the traditional
summer pudding.

Pruning
Whitecurrants are pruned in exactly the
same way as Redcurrants....
Prune between November and February. Remove dead or damaged branches,
and create an open bush by cutting main stems in half and side shoots
back to around 5cm by a bud.
Cultural Information
Position: Is best grown in full sun or
partial shade, in well drained soil.
Height and Spread: approx. 1.5m x 1.5m (5' x 5')
