A excellent variety for smaller gardens. It produces a heavy crop of
berries
which are great for cooking with. The berries have a crisp flavour and can
be harvested early in the season.
Gooseberry 'Invicta'
Wonderful for Cooking
Another excellent variety for the smaller garden. The berries can be eaten
fresh
or are great for cooking with. It produces a heavy crop in mid summer.
Uses
Great for tarts and
preserves, and in the traditional 'Gooseberry Fool'.

Pruning
Gooseberries are best pruned
in winter.....
Cut back the previous years growth to two buds and prune any
shoots from the centre to form an open structure.
Cultural Information
Position:
Excels in full sun
with cool conditions or partial shade. Plant in well
drained soil which isn't too dry.
Height and Spread: 1.5m x 1m (5' x 3')
